Samaritan’s Purse and Herschend began partnering in 2011 with the goal to collect shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Since the Shoebox Challenge started, we have collected 11 million shoeboxes for children in need around the world in support of Operation Christmas Child’s overall collection. Last year, nearly 2.2 million shoeboxes were collected through this challenge! The shoeboxes you lovingly pack will make a difference in the lives of children in need.
